More and more companies are using drones with cameras for control purposes and for a better overview. The flying devices are used to check high building facades, to explore construction sites and hard-to-reach approaches, or to make filming more unrestricted.
What goes up, however, also comes down again - and this does not always go according to plan. In the less serious cases, the drone crashes to the ground and is paid for by the hopefully existing hull drone insurance. Drone Hull Insurance
PRIVATE AND COMMERCIAL
Private and commercial use for photo and video shoots, participation in competitions and public events are insured.
EXTENDED COVERAGE
Occasional use of third-party (not own) models/ drones also insured.
NO AGE RESTRICTION
The policyholder may also be under 18 years of age, with reference to § 110 BGB. The age of the drone pilot is not limited.
NO USER RESTRICTION
Anyone who flies the insured drone and is authorised to do so is automatically covered.
FREE FLYING
The ascent and flight of the copter is also insured outside of model airfields (free flying) as well as indoor flights with restrictions.
GLOBAL PROTECTION
The insurance cover is worldwide excluding US territories and Canada.
